In 'eagle nest'

Have you ever heard of Eze, or otherwise 'eagle nest' in Cotte d'Azur, France! Apparently the French Riviera's luxury eclipses once again the equally luxurious villages that are found in its surroundings. Eze, was the favorite place of Walt Disney, the American maniac and the creator of the biggest animated movie house that today owns his name. The charming village of Eze is a gem of the southeast of France, which, for its cliff on a cliff top, about 427 meters above sea level, was once called the "Eagle's Nest."
From this height extends like in the palm of the hand the whole Mediterranean Sea and the wonderful French Riviera. This little town, almost all of stone, dates back to 2000 BC. In the 1380s it fell under the jurisdiction of the Savoy House which made it a fortified town by a fortress that was destroyed during the Spanish War. Today the ruins of the castle crown this medieval village positioned at an admirable rocky elevation. Only after 1860 Eze was assigned as part of France by a unanimous decision by the leaders and the people themselves. The narrow streets of this town adorn the old buildings which for years do not change their reddish color. Descending through these roads at 400 m above sea level, we are in the Eze Botanical Garden, or otherwise called the Exotic Garden of Eze, located in the favorite place of General de Gaulle in Alpes-Maritimes. The garden was created after the Second World War on the ruins of an old villa on a steep terrain with exceptional panoramic views of the coast. It spikasin the cacti and other exotic plants collected from the Mediterranean, African and American regions.

Eze is called differently and as a town of perfumes. The two most popular perfumes there are Galimard and Fragonard where it is interesting that if a tourist shows Eze's map taken from the tourist information office then they will benefit 10% off. And once you're 'perfumed', then the many stores that are aesthetically located to the streets of Ezhee and where the souvenirs are the most favorite of tourists can be explored. In this old village there are no cafes and restaurants with their characteristic terraces from where the Cotte d'Azur, stretches down like 'in the mirror'. Since Eze is only 9 km from Monaco and 11 km from Nice, there are some of the top class hotels such as Saint Jean-Cap-Ferrat Hotel where Tamara Eclesstone this year made her marriage ceremony. Another hotel is the Château de la Chèvre d'Or, located beyond the stone walls at the top of the village.
It is one of the best hotels in the world. A range of terraces reveal quaint courtyard stairs, pools, gardens and decks in Moroccan style.
The 30 suites of this hotel have hosted names like Marlene Dietrich and Robert De Niro. They are decorated with antique Italian marble and Paris. It would boast of the giant jacuzzi terraces and sweeping Mediterranean views. And a night at this hotel costs 140 euros, a 'modest price for de Niron;) But if you're going to spare the jacuzzi, we suggest you Hotel Hermitage, which is smaller with 16 rooms, offers after all the sight the whole look wonderful riviera and one night costs 65 euros. It is located about one km from the village along the Corniche Road and is highly recommended for fresh Mediterranean meals. Just for once we suggest you forget the glamor of Monako, Cannes and St Trope! It is time for the hills of the Cote d'Azur, where their ways turn us years back when Friedrich Nietzsche chose to write part of the work 'So Speak Zarathustra'.
