South Korean and Japanese forces launched joint mannas for North Korean missile tracking, while Pyongyang is preparing to launch an unprecedented Iranian-led intercontinental missile missile, according to the South Korean Army. On November 29, North Korea tested an ICBM capable of transporting a "heavy bulky bullet" to any state in the US.
"The maneuvers, the sixths of June, 2016, and expected to last two days, are being developed along the shores of the Korean Peninsula and Japan," according to the Korean-South Defense Ministry. "During the maneuver, each country's AEGIS combat system will simulate detecting and tracking potential North Korean ballistic missiles and disseminating information," he added in a statement. Two American vessels participate in the exercise as well as a South Korean and a Japanese. The two Asian states, where bilateral relations are affected by historical and territorial disputes, are linked to the US by security pacts.
