IN FINLAND, CHILDREN FLOW IN BOX CARD

Even with regard to motherhood, there are different opinions, often due to the traditions of each country. For example, many would consider it exciting for the newborn child to sleep in a cardboard box, but in Finland this is a tradition that has been going on for more than 70 years. Each new mother gets a cardboard box from the government in which she can decide to sleep the baby. It may seem madness, but no, this is a very serious matter ... In Finland, all children sleep in cartons in the first months of life. This is a tradition that has continued for 75 years and the government itself sends the boxes to the new mothers. Within the box there is a bag with original accessories, very useful for parents: this kit consists of:

A waterproof hat, gloves and boots A hooded suit Socks, Gloves, T-shirts, Towels, scissors, toothbrushes Thermometer, moisturizer and sponge gloves diapers Illustrated book and tooth toys Mattress and linens with box dimensions Even in the United States, this custom is spreading massively: Michelle Vick is co-founder of the company that has started producing these boxes. American pediatricians support the use of boxes: For child safety issues, it is much better to be allowed to sleep only with essential things, that is, with a mattress and a blanket. In this way, the terrible deaths in the cradle are avoided. Since this method has been introduced, in Finland, the infant mortality rate has decreased and today it is among the lowest in the world. The baby can sleep in boxes for up to 8 months. Then it can be transferred to a regular bed. Almost all mothers choose the box instead of an equivalent amount of money, which the government makes available.
